Meet Martin & Liz
We didn't set out to become photographers. We set out to never forget.
It started 2010 with a single wedding — a friend's, actually — and a camera neither of us fully knew how to use yet. What we did know was how to pay attention: to the way a father's hands shake before he walks his daughter down the aisle, to the half-second before a couple laughs at their own vows, to the quiet that falls over a room when a grandmother holds her first great-grandchild.
More than 500 weddings, quinceañeras, and family sessions later, that's still the whole job. Not the perfect pose — the true one.
Martin handles the camera and the calm. Years behind the lens across the Coachella Valley — from ceremonies at Indian Wells to backyard family gatherings in La Quinta — have taught him that the best photographs happen in the two minutes nobody's posing for one.
Liz brings the eye for the in-between: the newborn's fingers curled around a father's thumb, the grandmother adjusting her granddaughter's veil. Her maternity and newborn work has become its own quiet signature — soft, unhurried, honest.
Together, we're a husband-and-wife team based right here in the Coachella Valley — Palm Springs, Palm Desert, La Quinta, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells — and this is where we've built our life, our family, and our craft.
Why this work matters to us
Every family we photograph is, in some way, working against time. A parent wants to remember exactly how their child's hand felt in theirs at four years old. A daughter wants a photograph of her mother laughing that she can still look at in thirty years, when memory alone won't be enough.
That's the promise behind every session: not just a photograph, but something worth handing down.
