Liz has built her entire approach around one simple belief: you shouldn't have to perform for a camera during one of the most vulnerable, tender chapters of your life. You should just be able to be — tired, glowing, overwhelmed, in love — and let the photographs happen around you.

She moves slowly and quietly through every session, taking her time to make sure you're comfortable before she ever asks you to hold a pose. With newborns especially, there's no rushing — babies are given all the time they need to settle, to be soothed, to simply be held, while Liz waits patiently for the moment that feels true.

She pays close attention to the details most people forget to look for: the way a mother instinctively curls her hand around her belly, a father's nervous excitement in the delivery room days later, the exact soft weight of a newborn asleep on a parent's chest.
